Look, we could tell you we're passionate about travel and all that. But honestly? We're just really proud of this place we call home, and we get a bit carried away when we talk about it.
Started this year when we got tired of watching tourists miss all the good stuff. You know – the real stuff. Like how the tea picker in Nuwara Eliya has been working the same patch for 30 years and knows every plant by Heart. Or how the fisherman in Mirissa can tell you exactly where the whales will be tomorrow morning just by looking at the water.
Our team? They're all locals who've been exploring this island since they were kids. Some of them are certified guides, others are just people who know things – like which spice shop in Galle has cinnamon that'll make you forget you ever bought it from a supermarket.
The kingfisher thing? Yeah, we see them everywhere here. Brilliant blue, always moving, always leading you somewhere interesting. Seemed like the right name for what we do.
